Dimitrios Ioannidis is a founding member of Roach, Ioannidis & Megaloudis, LLC and practices primarily in the areas of International Law and Business Transactions, Civil Litigation, and Real Estate.

He practices primarily in the areas of international business transactions, international arbitration, civil litigation in both state and federal trial and appellate courts in Massachusetts and has been an expert witness in cases in other courts in the United States, United Kingdom, and other countries. He has represented the interests of a remarkable cross section of leading regional clients.

Mr. Ioannidis is a 1986 graduate of Boston University and a 1990 graduate of Boston University School of Law. He was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1990 and is a member of the Hellenic Bar Association.

Mr. Ioannidis was appointed counsel to the Consulate General of Greece in Boston, MA, in 1992, and to the Federation of Hellenic-American Societies of New England in 1992 and the Hellenic American National Council, USA in 1995.

He has extensive due diligence experience involving matters in Greece and has worked on many cases as an expert witness and/or consultant, including a case that involved the death of a passenger who fell overboard from one of the largest cruise ships in the world off the Coast of Greece. He also has done investigations for large financial institutions on matters in Greece and was a consultant to U.S. security firms on projects including the Athens 2004 Olympic Games and other security matters.

Mr. Ioannidis was retained as an expert witness on several cases, including a case for the U.S. Attorney’s office and large U.K. banking institution where he testified in the Supreme Court of Judicature, Queens Bench Division of London, U.K. Over the years he has represented the Greek Government, the Hellenic Navy and other U.S. and foreign based multinational companies on international business transactions and regulatory compliance matters, particularly in the areas of corporate, trade and customs and intellectual property.

Mr. Ioannidis is the author of many articles on the Greek Tax Code and Investments in Greece and is a regular Columnist of a Greek legal magazine, Sinigoros, based in Athens, Greece. He often lectures at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, Anatolia College of Thessaloniki, Greece, Deree College of Athens, Greece, the University of Patra, Greece and was a member of a panel presentation on issues of international business transactions at Boston University School of Law.
